Performing Arts (Dance, Gymnastics, Theater)
Through our performing arts programs, participants are encouraged to express themselves creatively and discover their inner talents. Within the spectrum of arts, the Y has programs for kids of all ages to experience excitement and vibrancy through the arts.
Participation in Arts programs foster self-esteem, enhance critical thinking skills, forge friendships and build valuable skills to last a lifetime. Express yourself and grow your own unique experience!

Safety:
Safety is a number our number one in class priority. Dancers will be taught the proper way to go about technique in both dance and gymnastics to provide a foundation for dance and overall health. For the safety of all dancers and gymnasts, Slate Belt YMCA has professional grade sprung flooring in their dance studio.

Gymnastics Summer Camps
Continue practicing gymnastics through the summer with our gymnastics summer camps! Each camp will run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. During this time, students will engage in stretching, technique building, learning special skills, and lots of fun!!
