Teen Sports and Programs (Ages 12 to 18)
Teen programs at the Y help youth develop their sense of independence. At the Y our core values are caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Advanced Art
Low key art class! It’s time to feel what hits different in fundamental Art! Know and use the language so you can flex! This class starts from the very beginning with shading, building textures, sketching, and finally perspective drawing! At the end of our class there will be a gallery at GVYMCA Bethlehem to showcase what you’ve learned and a final get together with your art family!
*Parents are welcome to stay for the 1st, 5th week and last class*

Leader's Club
WHAT IS LEADERS CLUB?
Leaders Club is a year-long, YMCA-based leadership-development program for
middle and high school teens. This program provides teens with extensive
leadership training and volunteer opportunities that support YMCA programs and
services to the community. In addition to teaching teens leadership through service,
Leaders Clubs advisers will:
• introduce teens to all the work the Y does to strengthen community
• inspire and prepare teens to become future Y leaders
• provide a safe place for teens to hang out and explore new activities
• to encourage a life-long spirit of service and volunteerism
• to foster personal growth and character development
• to enhance leadership skill development
• to help teens form positive relationships in a social club setting

Teen Basketball Program
Mondays @ 4pm-4:45pm

Instructor: Coach Keith/ Coach Talton
Teens get the chance to play organized pick-up games and work on their skills. Coach Keith and Coach Talton will be the instructor and referee during games. Bring your own teams or join teams that need players. 3v3 or 5v5 style games, based on total participation. Sign up online or at the front desk.

Teens In Training
Our program teaches youth how to use cardio and weightlifting equipment, along with pool training and exercise. Teens will be supervised using cardio and weighted machines to ensure proper use.
