Ages 3-5

Learn basic skills and drills of basketball.

Ages 3 to 5 years. Start with a short warm-up followed by multiple dance techniques and age appropriate style all while improving social skills, balance, and coordination.

Explore The Art of Science!

This class is an 8 week workshop series. Each class will have an age-appropriate, stimulating, and interactive exploration. Classes will alternate between science projects/experiments, and arts and crafts on a weekly basis. Each lesson is designed to capture the curiosity of children, while putting their mental and physical skills to the test through hands on activities. 

Where: Party Room at GV YMCA – Slate Belt Branch

*Miss Alyssa will pick up students from the lobby and bring them to the room!

Let’s get creative, messy and have fun!!  From finger painting to cutting patterns to coloring, children will develop their fine motor skills.  The art program allows for children to expand their creativity and grow their confidence.

Kids will unleash their creativity in this class with Legos!

Y Soccer is Co-ed.  Our goal is to teach basic skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and to have FUN.

All teams are contingent on how many kids register and how many coaches are available.

Practices will start once a week in early September , depending on the coaches and field availability.  Games are on Saturday Mornings.

Games and Practices will be held at Stockertown Rod & Gun club fields.

* Children must bring cleats and shin guards.

Our sports sampler class lets kids enjoy and be introduced to a variety of sports and games including baseball, basketball, and soccer. Character development, socialization, and sportsmanship are stressed.
